2. Contact Forms & Booking Requests

The website allows users to submit booking requests and expressions of interest. Please note the following:

  • Filling out and submitting a contact or booking form does not constitute an automatic or final booking confirmation.
  • A booking is considered confirmed only upon explicit confirmation by the Fourni Horses team (via telephone, email, or text message).
  • Users are required to provide true, accurate, and complete contact details in the form.

3. Experience Level & Route Selection

To ensure the smooth and safe execution of our tours, routes are categorized based on their level of difficulty:

  • “Fourni – Kastelli” Route (60 min): A gentle, easy trail through the valley, suitable for beginners, families, and children.
  • “Keramos” (90 min) & “Timios Stavros” (150 min) Routes: Demanding, mountainous trails with steep inclines. These are intended strictly for experienced riders with good physical condition and familiarity with riding on mountainous terrain.

4. Safety Rules & Mandatory Equipment

Strict safety rules apply during all horseback riding tours and activities:

  • Mandatory Equipment: The use of the provided protective helmet is compulsory for all riders without exception for the entire duration of the ride.
  • Clothing & Footwear: Riders are required to wear long trousers (e.g., jeans or athletic leggings) to prevent chafing against the saddle, and closed-toe shoes (sports shoes or hiking boots). Riding in flip-flops, sandals, or high heels is not permitted.
  • Escort Instructions: Participants must strictly and unconditionally follow the instructions given by our experienced guides/instructors. Detaching from the group without permission or unnecessarily disturbing the horses is strictly prohibited.

5. Health Restrictions & Physical Condition

  • Participants must inform the business in advance of any serious medical conditions (e.g., back or spinal issues, heart conditions, allergies).
  • Pregnancy: For safety reasons, participation is not allowed for pregnant women.
  • Right to Refuse Service: The business reserves the right to deny participation or interrupt a tour for any individual deemed to be under the influence of alcohol or substances, or whose behavior compromises their safety, the safety of other riders, or the welfare of the animals.

6. Cancellation Policy & Weather Conditions

  • Cancellation / Rescheduling by the Customer: Timely notification (at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled time) is required in case of cancellation or modification of a reservation.
  • Cancellation due to Weather or Animal Welfare: In the event of extreme weather conditions (extreme heatwaves, heavy rainfall, strong winds) or if deemed necessary for the rest and well-being of the horses, Fourni Horses reserves the right to modify or cancel a ride. In such cases, customers will be offered the option to reschedule for another date/time.
